Look into NYU (also expensive and pretty hard to get into, but an AMAZING school). also, look at CUNY schools. CUNY Brooklyn has an AMAZING program from what I've been told. I think Hunter has a program also. SUNY Fredonia has a good musical theatre program if that is what you are interested in - but idk about their straight acting program. I'm currently attending SUNY Potsdam. I love my professors and the school is nice, however it lacks the cultural enrichment of a bigger city. You can recieve a good education at SUNY Potsdam for acting if you set out with teh intent to do so. I have participated in every acting activity I could concievably.
